Cookie policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small files your browser stores on your device to remember information between visits. This policy explains which cookies getmailov.com uses, what they are for and how you can manage them.
Data controller
The data controller is MAILOV, owner of the getmailov.com website. If you have any questions about this policy or about how we process your data, you can write to us at [email protected].
Which cookies we use and the legal basis
We use strictly necessary cookies for the service to work, which do not require consent: mailov_session (keeping your session), mailov_lang (remembering your language) and mailov_consent (storing your cookie choice). Only if you accept the banner do we load third-party cookies for measurement and advertising purposes, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 5.3 of the ePrivacy Directive): Meta (Facebook pixel, _fbp and _fbc cookies) to measure visits and conversions and optimise ad campaigns, and Google (Analytics 4 or Tag Manager, _ga, _gid and _ga_* cookies) to analyse website usage. If you reject cookies or only accept the necessary ones, none of these third-party cookies is loaded. The details of each cookie — owner, purpose and expiration — are listed in the table below.
Recipients and international transfers
Data collected by the Meta pixel and by Google is shared with Meta Platforms and Google LLC as processors, and may be processed outside the European Economic Area (mainly in the United States). Both companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures an adequate level of protection. MAILOV does not sell your personal data to third parties.
Retention
We store your cookie choice for one year in the mailov_consent cookie. Third-party cookies have the expiration periods published by their controllers: for example, Meta's _fbp expires after 90 days, _fbc after 2 years, and Google Analytics cookies are kept for up to 2 years.
Managing or withdrawing consent
When you first visit the site, a banner asks you to choose between accepting all cookies, only the necessary ones or rejecting them. You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, which shows the banner again. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings; some features might stop working correctly then.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.
